Lie #1: Rivera said I previously supported “defunding the police.” This is false, and knowingly so, since I’ve been quite clear about it from the beginning. I’ve never supported defunding.

Lie #2: Rivera says I want to subsidize drug dealers with public benefits.

Lie #3. Rivera has repeatedly, publicly made it clear that she would cut $200M+ (or the better part of it) from the general fund. I have criticized this approach and she recently began saying publicly that my claim that this is her plan is a lie

Lie #4: The front page of Rivera’s website says she “never expected to run for political office.” When I publicly brought up her attempt to get this office several years ago, she denied it.

Lie #5 Rivera claims repeatedly she’s got a 30-year career of public service. But when she campaigned for this office in 2019, she was more honest and made it clear that she had a far thinner resume.

Twisted Fact #1: Rivera and her supporters keep sending out emails with over-the-top language to try to make great hay out of a clerical error my campaign made when we sent out mailers.
